Once a street was overflowing with garbage. Also the black plastic waste basket was broken at the end of the street and it was overflowing with garbage. A king cobra was glad if this and started dwelling in the street. It would bite all the street dogs that came to eat the garbage. Humans were terrified of the street as a king cobra lived there. But some people whose houses are on the street could not avoid it. They were really scared of the cobra. But the cobra was a worry only as long as the street was filled with garbage and Mayankana knew this. She organised all children of the street to clean up the street and they did this despite the threats – the dogs and king cobra. Once the streets were cleaned. The garbage can was replaced by Mayankana’s mother. The cobra slithered out of the street upset with cleanliness of the street. All rejoiced.
