The fish was swimming in the water when it saw a duck. The duck was looking morosely at the fish as a fish eating at the fish as a fish-eating shark was coming that way. The duck warned the fish and the fish went deeper underwater and escaped the shark. While the fish was safe from the shark it could not speak further to the fish and so was sad.
